SKODA Mechanical transmission locking system

To reduce the risk of theft as much as possible, we recommend fitting your vehicle with this mechanical transmission lock. This highly sophisticated safety system mechanically locks the gear stick in the reverse position. The lock is locked and unlocked using a key that is part of the set. The lock console is fixed to the vehicle´s gearshift control system with tear bolts and nuts that make any removal or disassembly completely impossible. Designed to prevent accidental locking, the lock cylinder is resistant to drilling off, breaking and/or tearing out. The transmission lock mechanism is designed to ensure that it does not impair the overall look of the vehicle´s interior.
