SKODA Front parking sensors SUPERB III

The parking sensors are the simple solution for correctly parking. They reduce the risk of colliding with objects that are out of the driver's line of sight but are still within the monitored area. This easy-to-use set has exactly the same functionality as optional equipment package 7X2, which is fitted as standard. The sensors (which are painted in the same colour as the vehicle) are fitted recessed into the front bumper so that they do not spoil the vehicle's aesthetics. Using ultrasonic waves, the sensors calculate the distance between the vehicle and the potential obstruction. An acoustic signal through the speaker and an indicator on the radio screen/navigation system (depending on how the vehicle is equipped) keeps the driver informed about how much space they have. Whilst the parking sensors are the perfect assistant when it comes to manoeuvring, the driver is, however, in no way absolved of responsibility for having the vehicle under control at all times. When washing the car with pressurised water, n er direct the pressure washer nozzle at the sensors fitted in the front bumper. If the vehicle is not equipped with rear parking sensors, it is also necessary to order a set of rear parking sensors depending on the vehicle type.
